BOYS’ CROSS COUNTRY - Colonels win home quad

WINCHESTER — Host James Wood recorded 41 points to beat Handley (48), Fauquier (62) and Skyline (75) on Wednesday.

Scoring runners for the Colonels were Mason Costa (third in 20 minutes, 34 seconds), Dalton Krossman (fifth, 20:51), Aaron Curd (10th, 21:03), Tyler Ostinato (11th, 21:08) and James Burdock (12th, 21:12).

The Judges were led by Grayson Westfall (sixth, 21:01), Brian Tufts (seventh, 21:01), Joseph Rosenfeld (eighth, 21:02) and James Morrison (ninth, 21:03).

Skyline’s Joe Hilleart recorded a 20:07 to win the race by less than a second over Fauquier’s Kyle St. Clair.
