DEHAVEN WILL PLAY FOOTBALL AT BRIDGEWATER

WINCHESTER — James Wood senior placekicker Chandler DeHaven will play football for Bridgewater College next year.

DeHaven was a first-team All-Northwestern District selection in 2011 after converting a school-record 8 of 11 field goal attempts, including a career-long 40-yarder. He kicked 19 extra points.

In his career at James Wood, DeHaven made 37 of 42 extra points and 9 of 13 field goals.

DeHaven was also the Colonels’ punter as a senior, punting 43 times for an average of 32.1 yards.
