Coming through: Late pick gives Judges drama-filled win over Colonels

WINCHESTER — As Geremi Long stood in the locker room moments after making an interception to preserve a win, and after Handley students had mobbed the field in celebration, everything was still a blur.
"I don't really remember too much about it," Long said of his interception. "I don't remember if it was high or low. Robert [Galloway] just tipped it and I made a play. It just felt really, really good to make the play."
The Handley junior intercepted a Trae Tinsman pass with four seconds left to give Handley a 17-10 win over James Wood. The win gives Handley at least a share of the Northwestern District title.
