Offense

Reid Entsminger — Sherando — Senior — Utility

Quarterback was 4A North Region and Northwestern District Offensive Player of the Year. Unanimous selection for region first team. All-Conference 21 first team. Went 115 for 204 (56 percent) for 2,125 yards, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions passing; had 168 carries for 873 yards (5.2 average) and seven touchdowns rushing.

Will Dearing — Handley — Junior — QB

Conference 23 Offensive Player of the Year (unanimous). All-4A North Region and All-Northwestern District second team. Led the area in passing yards (2,542), touchdowns (27), completions (156), attempts (268) and completion percentage (58). Also had nine interceptions.

George Aston — Sherando — Senior — RB

All-Northwestern District first team. All-Conference 21 second team. Tied for the area lead in rushing touchdowns (24), and had 141 carries for 898 yards (6.4 average).

Josh Dulaney — Clarke County — Senior — RB

All-Bull Run District first team. Led the area in rushing yards (1,620, on 181 carries for a 9.0 average), tied for the area lead in rushing touchdowns (24) and led the area in total touchdowns (25). Had nine catches for 117 yards and a touchdown.

LeeQuan Johnson — Sherando — Junior — RB

All-Conference 21 and All-Northwestern District (unanimous selection) first team. All-4A North Region second team. Had 206 carries for 1,159 yards (5.6 average) and 15 touchdowns. Had 15 catches for 162 yards.

Dontae Mauck — Handley — Junior — WR

All-4A North Region, All-Conference 23 (unanimous selection) and All-Northwestern District (unanimous) first team. Led the area in receptions (49), yards (867, on 17.7 yards per catch) and touchdowns (10). Had 46 rushes for 434 yards (an area-high 9.4 average) and eight touchdowns. Had 20 total touchdowns.

Justin Washington — Handley — Junior — WR

All-Conference 23 and All-Northwestern District (unanimous selection for both) first team. All-4A North Region second team. Played just five games before suffering a season-ending leg injury, but had 28 catches for 594 yards (21.2 average) and eight touchdowns.

Matt Lowery — Sherando — Senior — OL

Center was All-Conference 21 and All-Northwestern District first team. Helped the Warriors average 33.2 points per game.

Jordan Dowrey — Handley — Senior — OL

Guard was All-4A North Region, All-Conference 23 (unanimous selection) and All-Northwestern District (unanimous) first team. He helped the Judges average an area-best 36.5 points and 371.6 yards per game. Dowrey has verbally committed to play football at Marshall University next year.

Dante Tibbs — Sherando — Senior — OL

Guard was All-Conference 21 and All-Northwestern District (unanimous) first team. All-4A North Region second team. Helped the Warriors average 368.8 yards per game.

Luke Estep — Clarke — Senior — OL

Tackle was All-2A East Region and All-Bull Run District first team. Helped the Eagles average 359.9 yards and 35.6 points per game.

Seth Wagner — Sherando — Senior — OL

Tackle was All-Northwestern District first team. All-Conference 21 second team. Helped the Warriors average 227.1 rushing yards per game.

Defense

Jordan Dowrey — Handley — Senior — DL

Tackle was Conference 23 Defensive Player of the Year (unanimous). All-Northwestern District first team (unanimous). All-4A North Region second team. Had 109 tackles and team-high 4.5 sacks.

Luke Estep — Clarke County — Senior — DL

Tackle was All-Bull Run District first team. Had 123 tackles, area-high eight sacks, and forced two fumbles.

Tyler Hamilton — Sherando — Senior — DL

Tackle was All-Conference 21 and All-Northwestern District (unanimous) first team. All-4A North Region second team. Had 79 tackles (16 for loss) and team-high 3.5 sacks.

Josh Dantzler — Millbrook — Senior — DL

End was All-Northwestern District first team. All-Conference 21 second team. Had 55 tackles (nine for loss), and team-high four sacks.

George Aston — Sherando — Senior — LB

4A North Region, Conference 21 and Northwestern District Defensive Player of the Year. Unanimous selection for region first team. Led the area with 191 tackles (13 for loss), had a team-high three interceptions, and added two sacks.

Josh Dulaney— Clarke County — Senior — LB

All-Bull Run District Defensive Player of the Year. All-2A East Region first team. Had team-high 140 tackles, and added two interceptions and two pass breakups.

Daniel Eppard — Sherando — Senior — LB

All-Northwestern District first team (unanimous). All-Conference 21 second team. Had 93 tackles (team-high 21 for loss) and two interceptions.

Jack Pingley — Handley — Senior — LB

All-Conference 23 and All-Northwestern District (both unanimous selections) first team. Led team with 129 tackles and added two interceptions.

Reid Entsminger — Sherando — Senior — DB

Strong safety was All-Northwestern District first team. All-Conference 21 second team. Had 29 tackles (10 for loss) and one interception.

Dontae Mauck — Handley — Junior — DB

Cornerback was All-Conference 23 (unanimous) and All-Northwestern District first team. Had 56 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions.

Josh Ojo — Sherando — Junior — DB

Cornerback was All-Conference 21 and All-Northwestern District (unanimous) first team. All-4A North Region second team. Had 34 tackles and one interception.

Isaiah Williams — Sherando — Senior — DB

Cornerback was All-4A North and All-Conference 21 first team. All-Northwestern second team. Had 71 tackles and two interceptions.

Special Teams

Adam Whitacre — Sherando — Junior — RS

Punt returner was All-Northwestern District first team (unanimous). All-Conference 21 second team. Had 23 returns for 344 yards (15.0 average) and one touchdown, a 72-yarder that was his season long.

Nick Marshall — Handley — Junior — PK

All-Conference 21 first team (unanimous). All-4A North Region and All-Northwestern District second team. Led area kickers in scoring (72 points), made field goals (six, on eight attempts), field goal percentage (75 percent), extra-point percentage (54 of 55 for 98.2 percent) and made area’s longest field goal (37 yards).

Willi Spears — James Wood — Senior — P

All-Northwestern District first team. Led area in punting average (34.0 on 46 punts for 1,566 yards). Had a long punt of 55 yards and had eight punts downed inside the 20.
