WINCHESTER — Sherando won the Northwestern District regular season golf championship by capturing the second Northwestern District mini Tuesday at Rock Harbor Golf Course.

The Warriors won the title as a result of winning both district minis and tying for first in district dual competition. Sherando, James Wood and Millbrook each went 3-1 in district duals.

On Tuesday, Brett Loy’s 1-under 71 helped the Warriors to a four-player score of 311 and beat runner-up James Wood by 25 strokes (336). Millbrook was third with a 343 and Skyline was fourth with 398. Handley did not participate because it left on Tuesday to play a practice round at Winton Country Club in Amherst, site of today’s Conference 23 tournament.

Rounding out Sherando’s top four were Mason Scott, who tied for second overall with a 77, Josh Hogue (80) and Jonah Pearson (83).

James Wood was led by Roger Repasky (77), Hunter Hall (80) and Ben Marsh (88), while Millbrook was paced by Jeremy Mills (82) and Brian McGuire and Ryan McCarty (85 each).
