Sport: Golf.

Parents: Kristen and Jared Mounts. Hometown: Winchester

Nickname: T-Money and Ty

What do you love about golf: You can always go out and play the course. You can play by yourself and it’s just you against par. You keep trying to get better, but it’s pretty hard to get good at.

Most memorable moment in golf: In the Gunter (Memorial Tournament), I chipped in for eagle at Winchester Country Club on No. 15. It was pretty cool.

Most embarrassing moment in golf: This summer, I was playing at a tournament at Reston National and I hit my first ball into the water on a drive. I teed it up and hit it in the water again and then I just had to take my 3-wood out. I ended up with a 9 on a par-4.

Three people you can have dinner with, dead or alive: Ben Hogan, he was arguably one of the greatest golfers ever; My seventh grade art teacher Dale Root, I liked him as a teacher and last year’s chemistry teacher Bill Henderson, I liked him as a teacher, too.

Food you can’t live without and why: Pancakes has always been my favorite food. I love chocolate chip pancakes.

Who is your favorite superhero and why: Ironman, it’s one of my favorite movies. I love all of them.

Favorite teacher: Miss Kim Ringwald, the marketing teacher at James Wood. She’s my favorite teacher and got me into DECA.

Favorite athlete: [Freestyle skier and Olympic bronze medalist] Nick Geopper

Favorite team: Washington Redskins

Favorite movie: "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off"

Favorite TV show: "Impractical Jokers"

Favorite song: "Flashing Lights" by Kanye West

Favorite ice cream flavor: Cookie Dough

Plans after high school: I’d like to try to play golf somewhere and if it doesn’t work out then whatever. I’d like to become a stock broker.
