James Wood golf ties for 6th in Skyline Invitational

FRONT ROYAL — The James Wood golf team tied for sixth place at the 16-team Skyline Invitational that was held on the Red and White nines at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club on Tuesday.

James Wood senior Jacob Karen had the top individual score among local golfers with a 3-over-par 71. Potomac Falls’ Carrtes Morris won with a 68. Morris’ teammate Ray Ellingwood and Loudoun County’s Matthew Monastero tied for second with a 70.
