What do you love about baseball: Being able to go out with my friends and playing a sport we all love together. That’s my favorite part. I started playing when I was 3 or 4.

Most memorable moment in baseball: Playing for [American Legion] Post 21 year, I had two home runs in consecutive games that won the regionals. That put us on to the states.

Most embarrassing moment in baseball: A couple of years ago I was walking up to the plate and I heard my team yelling behind me. I turned around to see what they were yelling for and it turned out I walked up to the plate without a helmet on. I just had my hat on.

Three people you can have dinner with, dead or alive: Derek Jeter, he’s been my all-time baseball mentor basically; Will Ferrell, he’s my favorite comedian; and George Washington, because the way he led the country was really impressive to me.

If you were stranded on an island, what’s the one thing you’d want to have with you: A helicopter, so I can get off the island.

Favorite teacher: My engineering teacher Mr. [Jonathan] Russell, he’s always fun in class and helps us to always learn every day.

Favorite athlete: Derek Jeter

Favorite sports team: New York Yankees

Best live sporting event you’ve been to: I went to a Nationals game and two or three years and it was the closest I’ve ever come to catching a home run in the outfield. It landed about three people away beside me. It was kind of crazy. Bryce Harper hit it.

Favorite movie: “The Sandlot”

Favorite book: “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien

Favorite song: “Lose Yourself,” by Eminem

Plans after high school: I’m going to be attending and playing baseball at Penn College of Technology. I’m going to be studying cyber-security. Ever since I was little kid I was taking everything electronic apart to see how it works. I’ve always had interest in technology and cyber-security is a growing field.
