WINCHESTER — James Wood (8-8) defeated Spring Mills (W.Va.) 1-0 in the first game of Thursday’s doubleheader behind a three-hit shutout from Mitch Craig (five strikeouts, one walk), then scored 11 runs in the last two innings and had 18 total hits in a 17-3, six-inning win in Game 2.
