Kettle Run turns back James Wood

NOKESVILLE — Kettle Run scored three runs in the bottom of the third and hung on to hand James Wood a 3-2 Class 4 Northwestern District baseball loss on Tuesday.

The Colonels (8-3, 7-2) scored a run in the seventh and had the potential tying run at second base with two outs, but could not complete the rally against the Cougars (6-3).
