FRONT ROYAL — James Wood earned its first win of the season by defeating Skyline in a Northwestern District contest Thursday.
The Colonels (1-9-1, 1-4 Northwestern) received one goal each from Skyler Newlin, Liam Ebert, and Aidan Houser. Alex McLean, Colin Watts and Christian Marchelewski added assists. Cole Morris made 16 saves in goal for James Wood, which outshot Skyline 29 to 20.
