BOYS’ TENNIS - Conf. 21 individuals

STERLING — No local boys will be advancing to 4A North Region singles or doubles competition following the results of Tuesday’s Conference 21 semifinals action at Park View High School.

James Wood freshman Evan Dokken — the only one of three Frederick County boys to win in the singles quarterfinals Monday (7-5, 7-5 over Alex Whitehouse of Heritage) — lost 6-2, 6-3 to Khiem Nguyen of Park View Tuesday.

In doubles, Millbrook freshman Hayden Wilfong and senior Dillon Rice were the only one of three Frederick County teams to win in Monday’s quarterfinals, beating Heritage 6-0, 7-5. But they lost 6-3, 6-1 to Dominion Tuesday.
