BOYS’ TENNIS - Colonels 6, Warriors 3

STEPHENS CITY — Evan Dokken and Noah Borromeo had a part in three James Wood victories as the Colonels knocked off Sherando in Northwestern District action.

No. 1 Dokken and No. 2 Dokken each recorded 10-0 wins in singles. They also combined for a 10-3 triumph in doubles.

No. 3 Jacob Calabrese (10-1) and No. 6 Jacob Potter (10-8) also won in singles for the Colonels (7-3). Austin Harney and Chase Messick (10-8) won at No. 3 doubles.

The Warriors received singles wins from No. 4 Jake Baggett (10-8) and No. 5 John Elkins (10-1) and a doubles triumph from Seth Anton and Elkins (10-8).
