Boys' Tennis: Colonels 5, Hawks 4

FRONT ROYAL — Stewart Brondstater and Cole Creamer secured the winning point at No. 2 doubles as James Wood edged Skyline in a Northwestern District match Wednesday.

The two teams split six singles matches. The Colonels (7-4, 3-2 district) got singles wins from No. 4 Conner Heustis (10-1), No. 5 Creamer (10-7) and No. 6 Jacob Gregg (10-2).

Heustis and Gregg rolled 10-1 at No. 3 doubles and later Brondstater and Creamer delivered the knockout blow with a 10-3 triumph.
