WARRENTON — Brothers Noah and Jonah Borromeo pulled out a 9-8 (11-9 tiebreaker) win at No. 1 doubles to lift James Wood (3-4, 1-4) past Fauquier on Tuesday for the Colonels’ first Class 4 Northwestern District win of the season.

With the match tied at 3-3 after singles, the Colonels’ No. 2 doubles team of Cole Creamer and Jacob Gregg rallied from a 6-2 deficit to win 8-6.

Singles winners: No. 1 Noah Borromeo 8-1; No. 2 Jonah Borromeo 9-8 (7-0); No. 3 Creamer 8-5.
