All-Area Girls’ Soccer First Team

Ellie Volinsky — Handley — Senior — Goalkeeper

Volinsky tied for the Northwestern District lead with six shutouts, and she made 9.7 saves per game. Volinsky was the Northwestern District Player of the Year and a second team Conference 23 selection.

Jessie Ambrosio — Clarke County — Senior — Goalkeeper

Ambrosio led the area with 11 shutouts, and she made 10.5 saves per game. Ambrosio was the Bull Run District Player of the Year and a Group 2A all-state and 2A East Region first team selection.

Taylor Hicks — Millbrook — Senior — Defender

Hicks recorded a team-high 10 assists, and added one goal. Hicks was a 4A North Region second team selection and a Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team selection.

Abby Lanham — James Wood — Junior — Defender

Lanham led the Northwestern District with 11 assists, and added four goals. Lanham was a district first team selection and a Conference 21 second team selection.

Rachel Levinson — Handley — Junior — Midfielder

Levinson tied for the team lead with nine goals, and added one assist. Levinson was a 4A North Region second team selection and a Conference 23 and Northwestern District first team selection.

Audra Sites — Sherando — Senior — Midfielder

Sites recorded a team-high nine assists, and added seven goals. Sites was a Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team selection.

Casey Ackerman — Millbrook — Senior — Forward

Ackerman led the Northwestern District with 18 goals, and she added four assists. Ackerman was a district first team selection and a Conference 21 second team selection.

Neary Casebolt — James Wood — Sophomore — Forward

Casebolt recorded 11 goals and eight assists. Casebolt was a Northwestern District first team selection and a Conference 21 second team selection.

Emily Deem — Clarke County — Senior — Forward

Deem led the area with 20 assists, and she also recorded 22 goals. Deem was a Group 2A all-state second team selection and a 2A East Region and Bull Run District first team selection.

Erin Magalis — Sherando — Senior — Forward

Magalis recorded a team-high 16 goals, and she also added six assists. Magalis was a Conference 21 and Northwestern District first team selection.

Hannah Ravenscroft — Clarke County — Junior — Forward

Ravenscroft led the area with 27 goals, and she also added nine assists. Ravenscroft was a 2A East Region second team selection and a Bull Run District first team selection.

Alex Stanford — James Wood — Senior — Forward

Stanford scored a team-high 14 goals, and also added eight assists. She was a Northwestern District first team pick and a Conference 21 second team pick. Will play for NCAA Division I Lafayette as a preferred walk-on next year.
