GIRLS’ TENNIS: Judges 5, Colonels 0

WINCHESTER — Top-seeded and host Handley advanced to Monday’s Northwestern District final by dropping just two games against No. 4 James Wood in the five completed matches.

The Judges (15-1) will host No. 3 Skyline at 4 p.m. Monday in the district final.

Winning by 6-0, 6-0 scores for Handley were No. 1 Jessie Nolan, No. 2 Kathryn Bock, No. 3 Sparkle Kitchin and No. 6 Leire Froufe. Madeline Skedsvold won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4 singles against James Wood’s Rachel Sours.
