FRONT ROYAL — James Wood won five of the six singles matches en route to a Northwestern District girls’ tennis victory over Skyline Thursday afternoon.
James Wood’s Fae Schweitzer (No. 1), Ashley Hillyard (No. 2), Kate Schott (No. 3), Allie Cooper (No. 4) and Clarissa Nicely (No. 6) all won in singles.
James Wood (3-3, 2-0 district) swept all three doubles matches, getting a 7-4 tiebreaker win from Schott and Cooper at No. 2 doubles.
