WINCHESTER — Millbrook won two doubles matches to net a tight Northwestern District win over James Wood on Wednesday.

The teams of No. 2 Shanna Marin Pierce-Javins Fender (8-4) and No. 3 Sarah Woolverton-Ally White (8-5) clinches the match for the Pioneers (3-10, 1-5 district). No. 4 White (8-3), No. 5 Woolverton (8-5) and No. 6 Marin Pierce (8-5) had singles wins.

No. 1 Ashley Hillyard (8-6), No. 2 Megan Hillyard (9-7) and No. 3 Katie Schott netted singles wins for the Colonels (3-9, 1-6 district).
