FRONT ROYAL — James Wood notched five wins in singles on its way to a Northwestern District win over Skyline on Thursday.
Megan Hillyard (No. 2, 8-0), Katie Schott (No. 3, 8-2), Allie Cooper (No. 4, 8-4), Abby Macknight (No. 5, 8-3) and Fernanda Franco (No.6, 8-2) all won in singles for the Colonels (4-10, 2-7 district).
Megan Hillyard and Cooper (No. 2, 8-3) and Macknight and Franco (No. 3, 8-2) won in doubles.
