Girl's Tennis: Colonels 7, Falcons 2

WINCHESTER — James Wood had shutouts in five of its seven wins Thursday, cruising past visiting Central.

Kari Pope (No. 1), Headley Wilson (No. 2) and Brooke Buckley (No. 3) each won 10-0.

Pope and Wilson also turned in a shutout in first doubles, and Kristen Beckley paired with Erica Basque to do the same in third doubles.

Amber Knox also won in singles for the Colonels.

Molly Barb and Emily Stalbird notched individual wins for Central.
