Softball - Colonels 21, Judges 3
WINCHESTER — James Wood totaled 13 hits and drew 18 walks in a win shortened to five innings by the mercy rule Tuesday.
The Colonels (4-10, 3-5 Northwestern District) led 5-2 after the first inning before blowing the game open with a 15-run second inning in which they drew 10 walks.
Taylor Woolsey went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and Hayley Whitacre finished 2 for 2 with three runs scored for James Wood in the win.
Katherine Ramey finished 1 for 2 with two runs scored for Handley in the loss.
