Softball: Colonels 4, Wildcats 2

WINCHESTER — Lindsey Anderson hit a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift James Wood over Warren County on Wednesday.

Alyssa Brown (2 for 4) had a two-out single before Anderson (2 for 4 with a double) hit her blast. Lauren King pitched five shutout innings of relief, giving up only one hit with three strikeouts. King also was 1 for 3 with an RBI.
