ROMNEY — Lauren King and Lani Spielman combined on a two-hitter as James Wood whipped Hampshire County in six innings.

King started and allowed one hits while striking out five in three innings. Spielman allowed one hit and fanned seven in her three-inning stint.

Lindsey Anderson led the offense with by going 3 for 4 with a homer, double and four RBIs. Courteney Harper (double) and Rebecca Boone added two hits each. Emma Van Horn belted a triple, walked twice and drove in two runs.
