RICHMOND — Handley senior Lisa Meneau added to her long list of accomplishments Friday, setting a meet and school record in the 300 hurdles with a time of 42.50 seconds at the Southern Track Classic.

Former University of Virginia All-American Ayla Smith, who participated in the 2012 Olympic Trials in the 400 hurdles, had held the school record with a time 43.43, which is also the current Group AA state record.

The Handley boys’ 4x100 team of Stuart Carper, Kyrell Davis, Justin Washington and Dontae Mauck turned in a season-best time of 43.48 to place ninth, and Washington also placed seventh in the open 400 in a time of 52.20.

For the James Wood girls, Amber Hawkins placed seventh in the mile run in 5:10.18.
