Amber Hawkins — James Wood — Senior — Distance

Hawkins was the area’s best in the 1,600 (5:08.38) and 3,200 (11:05.07). In the 3,200, Hawkins recorded her season best to place fourth in Group AA. In the 1,600, Hawkins was seventh in Group AA (5:16.59), second in Region II, and was Northwestern District champion. In the 800, Hawkins was second in the district. She will for the University of Houston next year.

Katie Houser — James Wood — Sophomore — Jumps

Houser, the area’s best in the high jump (5-6), placed second in Group AA (5-5), second in Region II, and was Northwestern District champion. Houser was also district champion in the triple jump and ranked third in the area in that event
