WINCHESTER — Jacquari Hayes won five individual events to lead Sherando over James Wood on Wednesday.

Hayes captured the high jump (5-6), long jump (20-6), triple jump (41-7 1 / 2 ), 100 meters (11.84) and 200 meters (24.06) to fuel the triumph. Hayes also teamed with Joel Wayland, Tillman Baltimore and Kyle Holliday to win the 400 relay (47.41)

Other individual winners for the Warriors were: Alex Martinez in the discus (124-4), Isaiah Allen in the shot put (48-10), Kyle Holliday in the 110 hurdles (18.05) and Trevor Whiteside in the 400 (51.98).

Kevin Konyar led the Colonels with victories in the 1,600 (5:08.36) and 3,200 (11:21.73). They also got individual wins from Cody Dahlinger in the 300 hurdles (45.09) and Jace Chipman in the 800 (2:08.75). Wood also had relay wins from Mason Costa, Joey Costello, Jake Rust and Daniel Woodrum in the 3,200 (11:35.35) and Max Lindquist, Chipman, Tyler Ostinato and Jacksen Costa in the 1,600 (3:44.45).
