Wood’s Rosso stars at Woodgrove

PURCELLVILLE — James Wood senior Rene Rosso placed first in the 100-meter hurdles (15.31 seconds) and 300 hurdles (48.24), second in the triple jump (34 feet, 2.5 inches), third in the long jump (16-1.5) and tied for fourth in the high jump (5-0) to win the Outstanding Female Athlete Award for the second year in a row on Friday night at the Wolverine Classic at Woodgrove High School.
