WARRENTON — Fauquier won the third Class 4 Northwestern District mini track meet by 86 points on Wednesday night at Fauquier High School.

Team scores: 1. Fauquier 187, 2. Handley 101, 3. James Wood 83, 4. Sherando 68, 5. Kettle Run 38, 6. Millbrook 30. 7. Liberty 19.

Event winners: Handley — Jack Armel, pole vault, 10-6; Max Doerwaldt, 110 hurdles, 15.64; 4x100 relay, 45.77; 4x400 relay, 3:50.68. Sherando — T.J. Washington, long jump, 19-8.5; Kelli Lawson, triple jump, 39-4. James Wood — Dominic Revetta, shot put, 48-6; 4x800, 9:08.51.

Millbrook led individually by Tyrese Todd (second in the triple jump, 38-6).
