Boy's Basketball - Colonels 77, Wildcats 71

STRASBURG- Cam Butler led three James Wood players in double figures with 18 points to pace the Colonels to a victory over Warren County in the Ram Hardwood Classic on Wednesday night.

Chad Potter added 14 points and five steals, and Jake Lewin chipped in with 11 points, including three 3-pointers.

James Wood led 34-33 at the half, and the Colonels pulled away by outscoring the Wildcats 22-13 in the third quarter.

Matt Nicholson scored a game-high 32 points, going 10 of 14 from the free-throw line, to pace Warren County.

Michael Carter added nine points for Wood.

The Colonels (3-5) play Luray in Friday's championship at 7:45 p.m.
