Falcons soar past James Wood 77-58

WINCHESTER — For the James Wood High School boys’ basketball team, Monday’s non-district game against Fauquier must have seemed like a case of déjà vu.
When the Colonels (6-13) traveled to Warrenton on Dec. 13 to take on the Falcons, they lost by 25 points, thanks to 10 Fauquier 3-pointers. The Falcons connected for another 10 3-pointers Monday night at Donald H. Shirley Gymnasium to upend Wood 77-58 and sweep the season series.
