WINCHESTER — James Wood missed a 3-pointer as time expired, allowing Kettle Run to hold on in a Class 4 Northwestern District game on Friday.
The Colonels (6-9, 0-5 district) trailed 22-13 after one quarter but led 29-26 at the half thanks to a 16-4 second quarter. The game was tied at 38 after three quarters.
James Wood was led by Cam Firebaugh (22 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, three steals ) and Trent Campbell (13 points).
