STRASBURG- Josh McKenzie scored 19 points to lead Luray to a win over James Wood in the first round of the Northern Virginia Daily Tournament Monday night at Strasburg High School.
Monty Dickson added 18 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Bulldogs.
Luray built a 37-22 advantage at the half and never trailed the rest of the way.
T.J. Bruce led James Wood with 18 points, and teammates Chad Potter and Mason Smith also scored in double figures with 14 and 10 points, respectively.
The Colonels (1-5) face the loser of Monday's Warren County-Strasburg game on Wednesday night.
