GIRLS’ BASKETBALL - Colonels 62, Falcons 15
WINCHESTER — James Wood jumped out to a 17-4 lead in the first quarter, led 31-5 at halftime and cruised to a non-district win over Fauquier at home Saturday.
The Colonels (4-1) got a game-high 13 points and six steals from senior Kaitlyn Crane, junior Keiana Brooks added 12 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, and sophomore Hannah Arnold finished with 12 points and six rebounds in the win.
