Girl's Basketball - Colonels 68, Patriots 21

WINCHESTER — James Wood raced out to a 13-2 lead after one quarter and went on to thoroughly dominate Washington (W.Va.) on Monday.

Makayla Firebaugh outscored the entire Patriot team with 26 points. She also had seven rebounds, six assists and five steals.

For the Colonels (4-1), Amber Wooldridge added 14 points and five rebounds, Emma Van Horn notched 10 points, eight steals and four assists. Savannah Swanner recorded nine points, 10 rebounds and five steals, while Jenny Kerns had six steals and six assists.
