GIRLS' BASKETBALL
STRASBURG- Luray built up a 42-14 lead after three quarters in knocking off the Colonels in the semifinals of the Northern Virginia Daily Classic Tuesday at Strasburg High School.
James Wood (4-3) will face the winner of Tuesday's Strasburg-Warren County semifinal in Thursday's 6 p.m. consolation at Strasburg.
The Colonels were led by Shannan Thorne (six points, 13 rebounds) and Halley DeHaven (six points).
