WINCHESTER- Shannan Thorne had 22 points and 22 rebounds as James Wood rallied in the second half to defeat Washington (W.Va.) on Wednesday.
Washington led 29-25 at the half, but James Wood (8-7) took a 43-42 lead into the fourth quarter and outscored the Patriots 17-8 in the final frame.
Sarah Callaham scored a season-high 14 points, and Katelyn Pennington chipped in six points, 10 steals and eight assists for the Colonels.
