WINCHESTER — Freshman pitcher Lauren King scattered seven hits and struck out three to lead James Wood to a Conference 21 victory over Heritage at Ridge Field on Tuesday night.
Alyssa Brown went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored, and Kenzie Garrett went 2 for 2 and drove in two runs for James Wood (14-5 overall, 5-2 conference). Lindsey Anderson added a two-run homer for the Colonels.
