Softball: Tigers 8, Colonels 3
WINCHESTER — Brentsville scored broke a tie game with five runs in the top of the seventh to earn a Northwestern District victory against James Wood Thursday.
The Tigers used three hits, two errors, two walks and a hit batter to break the 3-3 tie.
James Wood (3-13, 2-11 Northwestern) was led by Morgan Sykes, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Morgan McCarthy, who had a double and an RBI.
