PURCELLVILLE– Loudoun Valley defeated James Wood in the season opener for both teams Monday afternoon.
Daniel Garber went 1 for 2 with an RBI single, and Garrett Cunningham went 1 for 3 with a run for the Colonels.
James Wood’s Matt Copley took the loss. He struck out five and allowed four hits in 4 innings.
