Six Handley players earned All-Region 4D honors to highlight selections for the All-Region 4D boys’ soccer team released Thursday.
First Team selections are Handley junior forward Isaac Carter, sophomore midfielder Micah Combs and senior defender Jackson Justice.
Second Team selections are Handley junior midfielder Finn Slaughter and senior defender Axel Grimaldo; Millbrook sophomore forward Ian Melnikoff and senior defender Kyle Arthur; and James Wood junior forward Brayden Pineda and senior defender Seth Rakowski.
Handley junior goalkeeper Aidan King-Miller was an Honorable Mention selection.
Charlottesville senior forward Thimson Duolo was named Player of the Year and the Black Knights’ Martin Braun was named Coach of the Year after leading the team to the Region 4D title with a 3-1 win over Blacksburg.
