Handley High School’s Jeremiah Wilson and James Wood’s Andrew Lloyd headlined the All-Region II team as the only local players to earn two selections.
Wilson, a junior, was named to the first team at running back and second team at defensive back. During the regular season, Wilson rushed for 1,265 yards and 18 touchdowns on 164 carries (7.7 average). At cornerback, Wilson recorded 40 tackles and three interceptions.
Lloyd, a senior, was named first team at placekicker (six field goals, including a school-record 47-yarder, and 31 of 32 extra points) and punter (42.1 average, and five punts inside the 20).
