Sport: Golf

What do you love about golf?: The main thing I enjoy is just doing it with my friends and my family. I really got into it by golfing with my dad a lot. That’s really what got me into it.
Most memorable moment in golf: When I shot my best round in one of the tournaments I played. It was a 77 at the Skyline Invitational [this season at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club]. I had a lot of fun that day, and it was my best score. So afterwards I got to tell my teammates how [well] I played.
Most embarrassing moment in golf: Chunking it on the first tee. I did that in one of the tournaments.
Most difficult moment in golf: Probably after a bad hole, getting down on myself and playing bad for the rest of the day. [Lately] I’ve really gotten into that mind space where I’ve just [been able to] go on to the next shot and done good the rest of the day and forgot about one hole.
Three people you can have dinner with, dead or alive: Jesus, because of my faith. George Washington. And my great-grandma. She was a big part of my life when I was younger, and I really miss her.
Biggest athletic influence: My dad. He’s been one of the best golfers I’ve known in my family, and he’s got me into it and helped me to where I’ve gotten now.
Favorite teacher: Last year in math, I had Mr. Levi. He helped me a lot with my work, and he was there for me whenever I needed him.
Favorite sports team: Washington Commanders
Favorite movie: “Happy Gilmore”
Favorite TV show: “Friends”
Favorite song: “Say The Word” by Ole 60
Favorite food: Steak
Worst thing you’ve eaten: Beans
Plans after high school: My goal is to go to lineman school or a trade school. I’ve really always kind of wanted to do something like that, and it pays pretty well.
