BOONSBORO, MD. — James Wood won the Boonsboro (Md.) Holiday Tournament with a victory over Tuscarora in Saturday’s championship game.
The Colonels improved to 6-2 with their win over Tuscarora (7-3) and its first-year head coach, Al Smith. Smith was the head coach at James Wood for five years before this season.
James Wood — which led 47-31 at the half — was led by Cam Butler (22 points), Peyton Crickman (17), Ryland Williams (16) and Nick Goode (10).
