LEESBURG — James Wood rallied from a 13-6 deficit after one quarter and 22-19 deficit at halftime to defeat Loudoun County in a Conference 21 game Tuesday.
The Colonels (8-12, 3-4 Conference 21) outscored the Raiders 10-3 in the third quarter to take a 29-25 lead, then held on for the win in a high-scoring fourth quarter.
James Wood — which made 23 of 27 free throws — was led by Chandler Brooks (16 points, eight rebounds, four steals), Robert Jackson (nine points, 10 rebounds) and Branson Ratlief and Aidan Houser, who scored nine points each.
