Boys’ Soccer – Colonels Boot Wolverines

PURCELLVILLE — Aidan Houser scored a pair of goals as the James Wood boys’ soccer team netted a 4-2 triumph on the turf at Woodgrove on Friday.

The Colonels (6-6) raced to a 3-0 halftime lead and cruised from there. Liam Ebert and Xavier Kallash-Kyler also had a goal for James Wood, which outshot the Wolverines 20-13. Skyler Newlin dished out two assists, while Alec Hager and Houser added one each. Keeper Cole Morris had 11 saves.
