Handley senior defender Jackson Justice was named the Player of the Year and the Judges’ Cosmo Balio was named the Coach of the Year for Class 4 as part of the combined Class 4 and Class 3 All-Northwestern District teams that were released Friday.
During the regular season, Justice had 10 goals and four assists and contributed to a defense that allowed only eight goals while posting 10 shutouts. Balio guided Handley to a 17-2 record this year and the top seed in Region 4D North with a 16-1 record.
Joining Justice on the First Team are Handley junior forward Isaac Carter, sophomore midfielder Micah Combs, senior defender Axel Grimaldo and junior goalkeeper Aidan King-Miller; Millbrook sophomore forward Ian Melnikoff and senior defender Kyle Arthur; James Wood junior forward Brayden Pineda and sophomore midfielder Daylin Paige; and Sherando senior defender Jackson Hepner.
Second Team selections are Handley junior midfielder Finn Slaughter and senior defender Javier Chavez; Millbrook junior forward David Avila-Moreno; James Wood senior defender Owen Swiger; and Sherando senior forward Timmy Hill and senior midfielder Landon Rust.
