WARRENTON — Jonathan Davet and Wesley Walker each scored a goal as James Wood closed out its regular season with a Class 4 Northwestern District triumph over Fauquier on Tuesday.
The Colonels (10-5-1, 6-5-1) outshot the Falcons 16-6 in securing their sixth shutout in their last nine games. James Wood will open district tournament play on Friday.
