WINCHESTER — Handley senior Parker Wilson defeated James Wood’s Evan Dokken in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, in the Conference 21 West Tournament at the Slaughter Tennis Pavilion on Thursday.
Wilson, the defending 4A state champion, will now face Harrisonburg’s Jason Muan, a 7-6, 6-2 winner of Millbrook’s Hayden Wilfong in Thursday’s other semifinal, in the tournament final today at 11 a.m.
Dokken defeated Woodgrove’s Darin Avila 7-6, 6-3 in the quarterfinals.
