Central snaps James Wood’s win streak

WINCHESTER — Missed opportunities and a disastrous seventh inning cost the James Wood High School baseball team dearly in a 6-1 Northwestern District loss to Central on Tuesday night at R. Charles Hott field.

The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for the Colonels (5-3, 5-2 Northwestern District) and knocked them a half game behind Sherando and Brentsville for the district lead. The Colonels and Warriors meet Monday evening at James Wood.
